PLEASE REVIEW THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION
If your fleet is for hire and you are hauling freight/loads Interstate your company is required to have a MC number. If you are stopped and you are hauling for hire, the state can fine you and require that the load be moved by a carrier with a MC number.
California permit office for southern part of the State is particularly slow in issuing permits, and it usually take 24 business hours to obtain a permit. Please take this into consideration when needing permits.
From Fleet One permit staff:
Axle spacing and axle weights:
Connecticut, Delaware, Indiana, New York, Pennsylvania, Kentucky, Arkansas, West Virginia and Virginia. These states require axle spacings and axle weights when ordering oversize permits (even if the load is at or below legal weight).
